Back....ahhh

Stayed tuned for pretty sky pictures and some picture of the old fort in San juan. The trip was great although my husband and 2 year old were tied to our waterfront condo for the first week due to the yucky FLU!!! I was surprised to find very little RECYCLING in San Juan which was very frustrating! I want to stay there and start a re-use revolution :)

We just got a wholesale order from Bootyland in Seattle. Cropped black crush pants w/ a nice high side slit, peacock velvet tops, and our VERY popular handpainted lotus pants. A great little nook that really supports organic, community products...Some children's items are also available.

Leaving for Puerto RIco tomorrow......San Juan. We are staying in a condo on the water. I am not looking forward to 12 hours of travel time with my 2 year old Pele!

I zipped around taking care of my friend Korina's 3 children today including my lil 2 year old! HA, always a lot to learn from children and their freedom in life! Organizing a new photoshoot in february/ March. Depends on when I can book my trip to buy fabrics for spring and summer. I am working on items now......Should i do a shoot before and after the trip or just one?

busy order day....

A busy monday with yoga.com orders and hlgarrick.com orders ......the buzzzzzyness really comes when I have orders for the handpainted items. The lotus tops and pants and handpainted peacock top takes TIME! I love it though.....a contemplative process. And while I am doing all that painting I hope that the love comes through to the wearer/my customers. Some sense of the time and commitment of work versus MADE IN CHINA clothing which often means money in someones pocket, but no intention of good or direct LOVE!!! I am working on donating a percentage of profit on healing the Oceans.....

OK, so I want to squish in some time to work out in between hlg clothing work and picking up my daughter Pele from her beloved daycare school. a wonderful place where they feed the kids ALL ORGANIC FOOD!

I brought my 2 year old to capoeira class today! ah she loved it. I was inspired to continue with the different drawings on the pants and also cover my little girl in bellydance eye glitter! BUT BEHOLD we need to head over to SKIN DEEP STUDIOS with Katrina who sells our lotus pants for that!

We just purchased ticks to go to puerto rico saturday. I plan on lots of walking and catching up on some yoga community in San Juan. Any leads on yoga boutiques in San Juan who would like to see our line? HAY!! We are a West Coast company...Everything made right here in small amounts in USA. I need to get some pics of my sewers in Seattle and Los Angeles/ L.A.!
