Uplifting nature during hardship

Of all the travel and life experiences, taking one day at a time is so crucial when we have so much change, sickness, death, and letting go in the world.  I am out in the wilds of Oregon right now trying to figure out what the best use of my time is.  I have been in the middle of a medical program and still selling my #yoga  #clothing via Etsy and other smaller scale platforms.  The medical program is transferred online only for now and starts up in a week or so.  I have been studying about the replication of viruses, statistics, and anatomy for almost 4 years now in #Seattle.  Here in Oregon I am missing my #Seattle backyard studio where I do all my artwork including hand painting and dyeing.  Here outside #Eugene there is a tremendous amount of inspiration in nature.  A blessed place to be right now.  The planet is in flux.

Inspirations from nature

All such amazing gifts we are offered to relish in.  These images were taken while I was with my daughters at the pacific science center here in seattle.  The butterflies were calm this day... Lovely and beautiful.

This sea creature was stunning although I refrained from touching.  The colors So divine.  The shapes and patterns inspired me to paint organically again!

I've been taking many moments out lately to appreciate life .  The details of motherhood, mothering, and the natural world have had such a profound impact on me.  The only way I seem to be able to relay this depth is thru colors, imagery , and photography.  What gifts they all are.  From is zig zag stitch on an up cycled top to the screen print of my poems on organic cotton shirts... I try to share these missing with the world through love and peace.

This upper image was created to explain to children the migration of turtles from the California area to Hawaii.  I loved the colors and the beauty of it all.   This was a gigantic globe of earth which resonated color from the inside...

Rollerskating and yoga

One of my favorite things besides yoga, yoga clothing, and meditation is Rollerskating.  I went with my daughter to Southgate roller rink today...  And went around in karmic circles for 3 hours.  I can't explain the bliss in meditation I experience in this crazy kiddie orbit but it's awesome!  Tomorrow I work on photography for my wholesale Etsy store💚💚💚💚🌿💚💚💚💚 loving it.,.

Sunday morning

Reticent of days past.  appreciating experiences and moments of depth from past loves....rain patters outside as I ponder, relax, imagine times to come in the future.  Osmosis connections creativity.  Appreciating what is more than what could be or how the future unfolds. Winter and Seattle November

It gets pretty grey and stormy here in Seattle in the winter months.  Its practically pitch black dark like my noire black crush velvet  / velour starting at 4 p.m.  Great time to sew and work on my blog.   Here are some items that have just sold in the past few weeks.  Handpainted tunic type ponchos , scarves.  I just signed up for the women of wisdom conference and am doing a holiday show in the Seward park neighborhood community center.  Will try to post some pictures of that.... hand dyed love hand painted artwork.  Ferns, water creatures, nature, earth.  Its all what I am after!  Hugs!
